It is adaptable for other printers using the same fan, although its functionality may be limited if the fan position differs. The design consists of a mount for the LEDs, attached with two fan screws, and a box housing an on/off switch and resistor. You'll need to calculate the appropriate resistor value based on your LED specifications; there are various online calculators to assist. Power is drawn from one of the expansion headers on the Printrboard, either at the edge (JP2/EXP1) or centrally (JP11/EXP2). Follow instructions for assembly and wiring, ensuring proper connections with a multimeter to avoid damage. A small box can be included for electronics storage, but it's optional.
