The Printrbot Simple's print area visibility leaves much to be desired, making it difficult to monitor prints as they progress. To alleviate this issue, a simple clip can be employed, featuring a bright white LED that shines a light onto the printing area. This clip is easily attached using the screws already provided with the printer. When selecting a resistor to pair with the LED, consider the power source being used - a value of 270 Ohms should suffice in most cases, but it's essential to use a separate power source, preferably one that operates within a voltage range of 6-12 Volts. To ensure proper installation, print the clip upright on the bed, positioning the LED area to shine directly onto the printing surface.
