Print the filament guide for a Pritnrbot Simple or any 3D printer featuring 8mm smooth rods. Place it on top of the smooth rods, allowing the filament to pass through the loop; use two guides to straighten filament before reaching the extruder. If issues arise, comment below. Version 2.3 should address scaling errors while version 2.4 fixed a minor error and improved aesthetics. Version 2.5 to 2.7 were modified to allow open clips; a second file with both open and closed loops is provided. The guide was created in Blender, scaled using the 3D print library extension, sliced with Slic3r, and printed via Repetier-Host.
