This upgrade provides added structural rigidity for Printrbot Simple 1405's extruder and serves as a mounting point for the "Printrbot Open Cable Chain". Use in conjunction with the "Printrbot Simple 1405 Fan Duct" for enhanced performance, and note that this design is also compatible with XL-upgraded printers. Check out another cable chain side from the design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:514734 Important update: ring & bar components have been updated to be slightly thicker, now requiring 20mm M3 screws instead of previous mounts for the cable chain. To assemble this upgrade, simply print without any support material and use either super glue or two short M3.5, 6.5mm or shorter screws for optimal results.
