This device empowers users to merge the "Printrbot Open Cable Chain" from the extruder with the base on the y-axis motor of a Printrbot Simple 1405 printer, allowing it to be utilized seamlessly. Additionally, it is designed to be compatible with printers that have been upgraded using the XL kit. To confirm fitment for the opposite end of the cable chain, refer to this alternative design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:514706 Assembly Guidelines: Print without support structures; join the components together securely either with hot glue or two M3.5 screws that are 6.5mm in length or shorter. It is advisable to use the screws as I did not conduct a test using only glue.
