A 5/16" all-thread knob for Printrbot Simple beta enables fine adjustments to the printhead height as it lacks endstops. Despite being designed for the original Printrbot, it's not compatible with the current Simple model featuring Acme rod; opt for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:145804. The knob is created using jridley's OpenSCAD library (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:11797) with parameters: screw_knob(26, 5, 20, 6, 3, 12, 0.4, 8.3, 13, 6). Printed on Printrbot Simple with PLA, 3 perimeters, 40% infill, the knob requires hole clearance and press fitting of a 5/16" nut. A second nut threads onto the all-thread to lock the knob in place. JohnSL's version is also available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:91438. Gcode file based on Simple settings is uploaded for anyone having slicing issues.
