The Fan Mount fits the 2014 Simple's Aluminum Extruder and requires a 12v-dc 40mm Fan. It is also compatible with the 2013 model featuring an aluminum Direct Drive extruder upgrade, but its zip-tie placement differs. For the 2013 model, the zip-tie is centered, while for the 2014 it's closer to the rear of the extruder mounting plate. This Mount fits precisely on a 5.8mm Wood Extruder and requires some force due to its compression fit design. It's advised to remove the extruder mount during installation, and install the zip tie loosely before adding the fan. Remember to let it cool completely before installing. The part was printed at 0.25 layer height with only 2 perimeters, but custom modifications may be necessary for individual machines.
