For PrintrBot Simple (wooden) Makers Kit, release 2014.1 was available early in 2014. This model was specifically designed for use with Sony's QX-10 camera, but thanks to its universal 1/4" mount design, it can be easily fitted to a variety of other cameras or secured using an adapter if necessary. Attaching the camera module is a straightforward process that involves screwing it into position on the hotplate mounting bed, requiring only one M3 screw that measures between 10 and 16 millimeters in length. If you're short on a spare 1/4" screw for your camera or find yourself without one lying around, consider printing one to fill the need.
