Printrbot Simple 1405 Z Axis Rod Stabilizer Plus Bearing Filament Guide
thingiverse
A simple Z-rod stabilizer with filament guide. Redesigned from a previous model, this updated version utilizes two 627 bearings for enhanced stability. You might wonder why 627? Well, it's quite straightforward: I had them on hand! For anyone curious, the 627 bearing boasts an inner diameter of 7mm and an outer diameter of 22mm, standing at 7mm in height. The filament flows through a narrow slot (approximately 2mm), navigates through one bearing, slips through another, and finally reaches your extruder. Here is what you'll need for the build: BOM: Fourteen-millimeter M3 screws Four M3 nuts Two 627 bearings Optional printed components: (a moderate level of infill is recommended) Assemble by: Positioning bearings on vertical posts connected to the stabilizer Attaching a separate component to the bearing Secure everything with screws Now you're ready!
