Printrbot Advanced 1509 Enhanced Y-Axis Reinforcer This highly effective revised Y-Axis Reinforcer angles and tips the belt precisely to keep it well away from the printer's body. It achieves a 3-degree tilt away from the printer's frame and features a unique belt loop that tilts at 7 degrees to keep the belt securely positioned. Important upgrades include M5 bolt slots for uncomplicated assembly. This sturdy part ensures ease of use by minimizing complexity during belt insertion. Instructions Guiding the belt through this component requires a bit of care, but its robust construction offers an actual full backing for extra stability. Remove any printer residue from the belt loop bar using a wire paperclip before beginning installation. Subsequently, cut a thin strip of adhesive-backed masking tape and carefully stretch it over your belt to create a reliable taped end guide. Insert the tape guide into the belt loop and gently grasp with tweezers, allowing the taped belt portion to be easily withdrawn. A moderate 0.15mm layer height yielded excellent results when printing this component. Screws fit snugly due to careful precision design. Extensive testing was not required; however, users may modify the OpenSCAD file as needed, increasing part depth for optimal strength.
