Printrbot Simple 1405 Full Bed X ends

This part lets you keep most of the original wood pieces and utilize the full width of the original bed, plus a little extra travel distance. This part seamlessly fits with the stock 10 inch steel rods originally from the 1405's z-axis. I upgraded the z-axis with longer rods and repurposed the 10 inch ones for use in the x axis. To fabricate this component, you must be able to print an approximately 5x3.5 inch area accurately. Assembling the part requires shorter screws (about a centimeter or less) to prevent them from poking up through the bed. Print Settings Printer Brand: Prusa Printer: Prusa Steel Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .3mm Infill: 15% cubic Notes: I printed it face down, as STL files are oriented by default, to achieve a smooth finish on the top surface. The print settings included three top layers, three bottom layers, and three perimeters. Printing was done on Prusa Original MK2.
