printrbot ramps lcd display panel for upgrade to 8bit or 32bit controller board and lcd graphics
thingiverse
this is part of a printrbot upgrade path i have previously worked on. this allows cheap graphics panels and dialed controls to be used on printerbot. this lcd mount clamps onto the circuit boards of the lcd panel and holds it in place when display is bolted in place of printrbot metal. version 2 fits lcd under x carriage, but a lift kit stl will be provided soon for ramps electronics to fit. this version of lcd screen cover has writings on it, so paint entire in white, then label sd card and reset button. to fit ramps in you will need to raise x carriage by about 5 to 10mm. instructions for that are coming in another thingiverse file. ver 2 prints without support material, you will need to cut out thin frame to bezels for lcd, this was so no support would be needed and bridging would not warp top. rich helped paint it at my maker space, you can file that off if you want, but i felt i owed it to him to leave his name there. i am officially releasing this as of 3_7_2020, as it only has a minor defect for correction and that is the arrow at reset. ver 2 still has an error in the arrow. it was a text -> but it offset more in output, so it will be redesigned with an arrow graphic for print in future
