PrintrBot Power Tower - revised
thingiverse
This is to be built using 0.210 to 0.235-inch-thick plywood. Full build instructions can be found here: http://help.printrbot.com/Guide/Power+Tower+with+Spool+Rack+%28New+Model%29/146 . The laser cut template requires a 12 by 24-inch sheet of wood, the second file is for two smaller panels that hold LED lights behind the gear (the gear itself can be replaced with whatever you like!). The power wires were trimmed to leave space for a PCI-E cable and an Molex connector. Two 12-volt wires remain intact, connected to the 12v LED strips I installed above and below a piece of clear acrylic. Hot glue was used to secure these strips. Compared to the picture provided, this version adds more space to turn on and off a power supply via toggle switch; remove if not necessary. The required hardware consists of: 2 - #6-32 1/2-inch screws 8 - M3x13mm bolts 4 - M3x20mm bolts 5 - M3x10mm bolts 5 - M3x22mm bolts 12 - M3 Hex nuts Additional materials include: A 12x24-inch piece of 0.210 to 0.235-inch-thick plywood Clear acrylic Black acrylic 12v LED strips or tape Hot glue
