Printrbot Power Tower Modification for MatterHackers Filament Spools

By modifying your Printrbot Power Tower, you can now accommodate wider filament spools from MatterHackers. To do this, you'll need (4) 1" long 6-32 machine screws, (4) 6-32 nuts (nylock nuts are preferable), and (4) printed Bearing Bushings and Washers. For optimal results, print at a resolution of 0.2mm or less and use 50% infill for strength. To assemble, remove the existing spool holder parts from the Power Tower. Thread washers onto machine screws and place them through the rectangular slots. Assemble bearing bushings and bearings over the screws, then secure with nuts. Nylock nuts are recommended for better hold.
