Replace the original extruder on your Printrbot Plus V2 with this printable version, which is based on hammerFET's and Solidoodle mk5 extruders. This lightweight, easy-to-load design features a hobbed bolt for better filament grip and reduced jamming. Install the laser-cut parts at high infill settings, then add linear bearings, belt tensioner, end stop screw, fan, and hot end as instructed in the images. Secure components with M3 and M5 bolts and ensure proper alignment. Insulate the extruder body with Kapton tape, and adjust firmware settings for optimal performance.
