I recently received a PrintrBot Plus v2.1 and made significant changes to its z-axis by swapping it for an M8 threaded rod instead of the ACME rod that came with it. This upgrade enables the z-axis to match the steps-per-mm used by my PrintrBot Jr v1, which has successfully utilized an M8 rod for a year without any issues. However, I found that the existing nut and its rotational stopping mechanism weren't sufficient to accommodate an M8 nut. To overcome this limitation, I created these specialized objects. They are designed to be installed in place of the original ACME nut, providing a precise fit and accommodating a cutout specifically for a M8 nut. These new components were successfully tested on my PrintrBot, allowing me to print two intricate objects without encountering any problems.
