Printrbot Plus 1404 Anti-Backlash Z-axis
thingiverse
I've been wrestling with the Delrin Z-nuts that kept wobbling around on their mounts - threading a machine screw into wood never seemed like a great idea to me. So, I came up with this mount design that wraps around both corners and eliminates those original mounting holes while still retaining my trusty 3/8" ACME leadscrews. Hardware Details can be found under the instructions below: P.S. If there's enough interest, I'll give designing one a shot using standard Delrin Z-nuts, just making it sturdier for you. Instructions You will need: -2 x M6 screws (the shorter, the better - aim for 6-10mm length) -4 x M4 screws (16mm length is recommended) -4 x M4 nuts -2 x Anti-Backlash Nuts from DumpsterCNC (make sure to select "add flange option" #2, refer to my photos for confirmation. Part# AC38121-LN)
