This is a compact enclosure designed to hold a toggle switch that fits into the hole on the side of a Printrbot Play where the micro SD card slot is located. By blocking off this area, users who do not tether will find it less effective. The enclosure is a friction fit and may require sanding to ensure a proper fit. I am using this enclosure to house a toggle switch for my white LED lights, which I have installed to illuminate my prints for better visibility and time-lapse footage. Now, with the option of being turned on or off, I can control the lighting more easily. The toggle switch I used is a 3M Branded Metal Toggle Switch 03894NA. The LED strips I am using are from Unicorn Electronics, but any LED strip would work as long as it matches the voltage requirements of the LEDs. My LEDs are connected to an ATX power supply that powers my printer and heated bed, which operates at 12 volts. To connect them safely, I tied them into a sacrificial molex connector from a graphics card. Please note that I am not responsible for any damage caused by your installation; this is purely educational. To install the LED lights, follow these steps: Connect the black wire to the negative (-) terminal and the yellow wire to one side of the switch. Use additional cable to connect the other side of the switch to the positive (+) terminal on the LED strip.
