This modification helps prevent jamming while fine-tuning flexibles on the Alu V2. By allowing you to see the filament during adjustments, it enables you to pause or quit printing before a severe jam occurs, giving you time to recover and immediately resume printing with adjusted settings - usually just slowing down the process. Otherwise, you might have to remove the shield, fix the issue, and reattach it, which is a huge waste of time. I may add a fan nozzle in the future, but I decided to focus on getting flexibles working first. This version has more support for the bottom fan compared to the pictured design. Printing it like the original Printrbot design (as shown) doesn't offer any benefits. The triangle works perfectly for me, although some people might prefer access to both allen bolts. It should be easy for users to modify the design, and I've included the Solidworks file as well.
