If you're curious about what's going on under the hood, the PB Play's safety shroud remains a mystery until at least 10 layers are printed - not exactly ideal. The Printrbot Play Fan Mount version 1.0 is a sleek fan mount that lifts the veil of secrecy surrounding the PB Play's internal workings and provides unparalleled access to what happens behind the scenes, all in one convenient piece that can be easily printed on your Printrbot Play. I highly recommend printing at 100% fill density for optimal results. My prototype was printed with a .15 mm layer thickness, but feel free to experiment and find the perfect balance for your needs. To ensure smooth operation, lower your print speed to around 10mm/sec - I found this helped resolve issues that arose when printing at 50mm/sec. I've included both an AMF file saved from CURA and an STL file for your convenience, carefully optimized for a seamless printing experience. Please note that this is version 1.0 of the design, and while it works flawlessly, I'm continually refining my designs to make them even better. Stay tuned for updates!
