Printrbot Play E3D V6 Adapter Plate and Cooling Fan Mount

This creation is inspired by the Printrbot simple adapter plate, a common groovemount, and my need for a spot to place a cooling fan. edit: I have an untested version 2 available now if you'd like to try that version 2. Print Settings Printer: Printrbot Play Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Infill: Something reasonable >30% Notes: Flip this design upside down to print so all the protruding parts are facing up. Post-Printing Required Parts for an E3D V6 You'll need one of these to fill up the empty gap in the extruder: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:958450 And probably one of these http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:713203 to space the extruder forward and give the hot end some room to fit. Installation Remove the extruder from the printer; it's just too much of a hassle otherwise. Pop 2 M3 machine screws into PART 2 Press an M3 nut into the back of PART 2 Slip PART 2 and the extruder together Stick the hot end into the bottom half of the extruder with the fan mount on the left-hand side (viewing from the front) Screw it in; the screw near the hot end might be a bit tricky. Screw PART 1 onto the bottom part of the extruder Swing it into place Screw it into the nut with a big screw. I haven't done this myself yet, but if you want to feel secure, go for it. Use some M3 nuts and bolts to attach your cooling fan to the mount Get worried if the mount prevents the carriage from hitting the X endstop.
