PrintrBot Metal NinjaFlex adapter
thingiverse
I'm thoroughly impressed by the Printrbot extruder mod's adaptability with NinjaFlex filament! To master its use, I'll break down the essentials: Printing Techniques Optimize your settings by printing with layers no thicker than .2mm – this is key to securing a seamless 1.75mm diameter passage for smoother extrusion. Aids Support Structures are utterly unnecessary with this modification – you won't be bothered by unnecessary layers taking up space. Initial Issues and Fixes Should you encounter difficulties getting the filament to feed properly, focus on tightening the extruder arm's screw – this may necessitate extra pressure to ensure smooth movement. A major advantage is that it doesn't demand a complete disassembly of the extruder, allowing you to troubleshoot issues without significant intervention. With some trial and error, insert the filament into its respective passage with caution. Ensure that it fully clears before turning on the hot end. I now find that I'm able to print at rates of 30mm/s with a clear and organized process!
