Printrbot Makers Kit (1405) Raspberry Pi B+ Mount

I needed to use Solenoid's exceptional Raspberry Pi and camera parts for the Printrbot Simple Makers Kit, but that design only works with the Raspberry Pi B, while I had a Raspberry Pi B+ on hand - so I remixed an adaptor to replace the original one. The thing remains exactly like the original in terms of the number of screws required: undo just the 4 side screws on the Printrbot and install the new B+ mount, that's all you have to do. The screw holes for the Pi are precisely designed for M2 screws - I even used M2 because they're more commonly available; but you could make them bigger if needed since M2.5 is what the Pi actually requires. A real pain point with the Raspberry Pi B+ is its awkward microUSB power connector location: it faces upwards and directly towards the Printrbot's y-axis. But this mount will place the Pi just far enough away that your power cable won't interfere - yet you might have to use a cable tie to keep the power cord out of harm's way as it wraps around to catch the moving axis. Update: Unfortunately, my Raspberry Pi B+'s microUSB port really tends to get caught by the Printrbot's y-axis during motion; this causes interference that would not otherwise occur. Given the annoyance I was experiencing from having the B+ stuck between things all day long, instead of trying out some cable solution like an adaptor or right angle extension, I thought it'd be better if my Pi moved over to the opposite side. Therefore, I came up with a new design based on the new screw pattern found here - now available in upload. As designed "bPlusHolderRightSide," this design positions everything in just the correct spot, giving the Raspberry microUSB port sufficient space upwards (as required), but still has them USB facing to where Printrbot can use its rear end ports perfectly - so be sure and check it out, it works quite nice I am told.
