Printrbot Light Bar Mount
thingiverse
This mounting bracket is designed to be used with a 12V LED known as the "Pilot Automotive IL-578W," which can be easily located at your local auto parts store. I engineered this mount to hang off the bottom of a 40mm extruder fan, taking its place in the spot previously occupied by two plastic nuts that were holding my extruder fan in position. To assemble the mounting bracket, follow these steps: Use small cutters to carefully remove the cone-shaped metal components from the LED board. Next, use a soldering iron to carefully strip away any remaining fragments of metal from the solder tabs. Finally, solder a short length of wire onto one tab on each side; polarity does not matter. When soldering your wires, be mindful that it is a tight fit in the mount, so be sure to make small, delicate connections.
