We upgraded the Printrbot LC's Z-axis treaded rod by incorporating a stepper motor with an integrated Acme screw. Following these instructions, print each STL file and install them on the X-Axis bridge. Attach Acme nuts, replace the original steppers, and finally connect all components together for completion.
