Printrbot LC Single Universal Extruder Mount

Revamped an extruder attachment for the new Universal Extruder from Kickstarter's Open Source Universal 3D Printer Extruder Dual Ext project (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/qu-bd/open-source-universal-3d-printer-extruder-dual-ext). The initial design presented some flaws, like the fan's proximity to the wall potentially affecting heatsink cooling and potential Z axis rod strain with extension. Uncertainty about compatibility with the double extruder version due to differing mounts prompted a revision. This update (version 2) necessitates QU-BD MBE extruder orientation parallel to the mounting plate, rather than perpendicular as in the original design. Slots must be cut into the mounting plate as none of the holes are 50mm apart like the Wade Extruder. A blog post detailing installation was planned. Photos of QU-BD installation on PB+ were later posted, accompanied by a blog post about paralleling the Universal mount. An extruder lever mod by mickb (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43411) is also mentioned. Print and clean the part if necessary, remove 4 screws from the X carriage, then mount and install QU-BD extruder.
