To install a 40mm adjustable fan (compatible with Printrbot Plus), I modified laser-cut component #291. Ensure that the mounting holes have a diameter of 3.4mm for M3 or 6/32 screws. Clean up capture nut spaces for proper nut fitting. Replace part #291, and optionally drill an additional hole higher if needed for fan height adjustment. Download Solidworks 2012 for more details.
