I've experienced issues with PLA sticking in my Printrbot 1302 extruder due to heat problems. This is a frequent issue and there are numerous fan mounts available that typically mount the fan at an angle or utilize 25 or 40 mm miniature fans. I sought a more efficient solution so I designed a fan mount that replaces the original wooden side components of the extruder assembly. The new parts enable mounting a 50 mm fan directly in front of the extruder for maximum cooling. After installing the fan, I've encountered no further problems with filament sticking. FreeCAD original file is included as well as printable STL files.
