I discovered that my wooden desk was amplifying my Printrbot's noise, so I purchased "softtouch 1/2 bumpers" from a local store. The round wooden surface seemed unsuitable for the adhesion of these bumpers. To address this issue, I located the part at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24183 and decided to customize it for my PrintrBot. Afterward, I improved upon the design and uploaded a new version at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39300. For optimal results, print four of these modified items, attach rubber/silicone bumpers on the bottom, and install them.
