The Fan Mount attaches a 40x40x10mm fan using two screws, ensuring the LC extruder remains at its original height by mounting it on top of the bracket instead of beneath. Alternatively, the Fan Cone can be bolted to the fan's base with the same screws, focusing cool air on the work without obstructing the view. To use Pronterface, enable "Generate support material" in Slic3r's Print Settings for Fan Mount overhangs. The narrow Fan Cone may be preferred as it doesn't block the extruder from sight while maintaining similar cooling efficiency. For optimal performance, wrap a 40x60mm aluminum foil around the extruder side of the Fan Cone and secure with tape on the cool side. To install, bolt the Fan Cone to both the fan and the bracket before attaching the Fan Mount using just its screws. Ensure proper clearance for the Large Gear and trim the left bracket if necessary. Finally, don't forget to activate cooling in Slic3r during printing.
