Transforming Printrbot LC extruder to Bowden system involves two parts: extruder to Bowden setup with X-idler mounting bracket and insert, and Bowden to hotend connection. This modification works specifically for 3mm filament. The original design from thingiverse.com/thing:26963 has been shortened and narrowed for compatibility with LC's X-carriage platform, and features a taller block to accommodate pneufit thread length. It also includes M4 hotend mounting holes like in Printrbot extruder and eliminates base nut traps. The X-idler mounting bracket has been custom designed. Additionally, the model comes with an insert for easier filament threading. For SCAD extruder to Bowden conversion, you'll need extra scad files from thingiverse.com/thing:18379 (jonaskuehling-default.scd, configuration.scd, functions.scd, metric.scd).
