PrintrBot Jr. v1 Y-Axis remake

PrintrBot Jr. v1 Y-Axis remake

thingiverse

This is a remake using the diagram of the original wooden parts for the Printrbot Jr. v1. I merged some parts and converted others to form a much sleeker and lighter profile. Important Note: The extruder platform is for the new aluminum extruder BUT I have included the .skp files if you want to modify them. More to come in my personal journey to re-create my entire Jr. v1 in plastic! (all the wooden parts anyway :P) Instructions The extruder platform and y-axis with endstop have been modified with a place to run a 1/4 x 20 threaded rod with a nut on each end to keep the entire y-axis from wobbling or shaking too much. With taking all the weight away from the rear end the extruder/fan may weight down the front end. The sandwich middle, middle modified, and middle modified 2 are all part of the same piece that replace all of the original wooden parts of the Y and Z axis. (note: the Z axis adapter here is fit for a connecting nut approx. 1 inch long or you can just use brass)
