Printrbot Jr. Aluminum Bed

To resolve warping issues, a 5mm thick aluminum plate was chosen as an upgrade to the PrintrBot Jr.'s standard wooden print bed. The aluminum plate's dimensions were marked using a printed template, and it was cut accordingly. Mounting holes were recessed to keep screw heads hidden beneath the printing surface. Holes were accurately punched and drilled, and screw head recesses were created before replacing the original print bed with the aluminum one. Finally, masking or kapton tape was applied on top prior to printing.
