Printrbot Gimbal
thingiverse
On April 5th, an updated STL file with tighter gimbal tolerances was released for my printers. I recently printed Bluebie's assembled Parametric Gimbal, which is a fun print demonstrating Print-In-Place design for movable elements. As an experiment using Tinkercad's import STL function, I combined the Parametric Gimbal with the Printrbot logo (https://printrbot.com/2013/07/04/printrbot-logo-files/). After several adjustments, I achieved a balanced design with an appropriate Printrbot logo thickness for optimal spinning. The original design was printed at 0.2mm layer height on the new Metal Printrbot Simple, and I believe the tolerances could be further improved.
With this file you will be able to print Printrbot Gimbal with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Printrbot Gimbal.
