Update 4/5/14: Tinkering with my printers reveals loose gimbal tolerances, prompting me to upload an updated STL file with tighter settings. I've printed out Parametric Gimbal, which came pre-assembled courtesy of Bluebie and has been a week-long plaything for me. This fun print showcases Print-In-Place design by creating movable elements. As part of my exploration into remixing using Tinkercad's import STL function, I combined the Parametric Gimbal with the Printrbot logo found at https://printrbot.com/2013/07/04/printrbot-logo-files/. It took several iterations to achieve a balanced center and optimal thickness for the Printrbot logo that still spun smoothly.
