Snap a plastic clip onto your Printrbot 1.75mm filament spool to prevent hassle when not printing or danger from uncoiling the entire roll. This method may also work with other brands if their spools match the design. Instructions Print this piece solid and assemble as instructed below. To fit the clip on your spool, spin it ninety degrees from where it should rest, so that the open side of the clip meets the outer edge of the spool roll it smoothly into position. The parts should snap securely together. Finally, hook your filament into the provided slot and you're set for operation.
