I've crafted this secure mounting system for CreativeTool's Universal Filament Filter (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:492067) specifically designed for the Printrbots extruder. If you're confident in your printer's overhang capabilities, print without supports. Be prepared to use a knife to clear out the filament channel, as I've added a thin layer to create a rectangular bridging gap. Orientate the STL file with its cylindrical side facing upwards on the build plate.
