The improved fan duct is truly a marvel, but its pairing with the squirrel cage fan only highlighted its greatest flaw: a crippling lack of length. This remix tackles this issue head-on by cleverly extending the base of the shroud, thereby allowing it to reach the plate unobstructed - no pesky fan in the middle to contend with! I opted to print this design without any fan ducting in place, and as such, the finished product is a tad rough around the edges. However, once I've got my hands on a proper fan duct, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be printing a new one forthwith.
