UPDATED Feb 6, 2015: I completely overhauled the included accessories, added a recess to accommodate an e3d-v6 and tweaked the nut traps on the i3, 1.75mm, MK8 version for better fitment. Upgrades for the i2, simple metal, MK7 and 3mm versions will be posted shortly. In addition, I modified the fan shroud attachment and its surrounding area, resulting in improved performance. UPDATED Jan 9, 2015: I introduced a custom-designed mount and shroud for a cooling fan (optimized for the i3 printer). This innovative setup helps dissipate heat generated by plastic extrusion and works seamlessly with my printer. The corresponding SolidWorks assembly allows users to fine-tune the fan's position to suit their specific needs. For maximum versatility, I also included STEP files to make further adjustments possible without relying on the SolidWorks software. Furthermore, I designed an extended e3d 40mm fan shroud specifically for printers utilizing extruders such as those on my i2, which accommodates larger fan units that could not previously be used. This modifiable setup can also be adapted for use with a 30mm fan unit.
