This is my custom Printrbot Simple Metal LCD Display schematic, board layout file, bezel and back STL files for any 3D printer using Rev-D of the printrboard with their firmware. I posted about this on the forums of the manufacturer But the links are no longer active as printrbot has removed them. Keep in mind that I had to take it offline due to technical issues, but I left behind a wayback machine link with all instructions for more details. This bezel does not fit the official Printrbot LCD. Manufacturing The Board * Manufacture the circuit board exactly as shown in the schematic. * Place all components on the back side of the printed board, leaving only space for the rotary encoder and the LCD display to be installed separately. * Connect the Standard 20x4 LCD directly to the baseboard using a header that is soldered to both sides. * Insert printed washers between the two boards to act as spacers. Completing The Assembly * Place the assembled board into the bezel you designed earlier.
