Printrbot Camera Holder
If you haven't tried Octopi, you should definitely give it a shot! It's an incredible project - huge thanks to the brilliant minds behind it - and it works seamlessly with my Printrbot Simple Metal. That being said, once I got things up and running, it became crystal clear that positioning the Raspberry PI and camera would be a real challenge. So I decided to print a holder to ensure the gizmo always stays in its perfect spot, especially when printing. I ended up opting for a holder that attaches to the back of the printer and extends to the left to connect to a Raspberry Pi case - for this project, I used a LEGO-compatible SmartiPi case. For added stability, you can secure the holder to the back of the printer using the existing metal screw.
