Printrbase 2 ATX Power Supply Case for PrintrBot Simple Metal with Heated Bed
thingiverse
This is a solid foundation for an ATX power supply for a Printrbot with a heated bed, simplifying the wiring by enclosing the ATX wires within a case. My initial iteration of this (Thing #512601) employed a smaller power supply and consisted of two separate components. This upgraded version accommodates larger ATX power supplies but must be printed in four parts. To accommodate most any ATX power supply, it is slightly bigger, while its original intent remains intact - to give access to the reset button by overhanging at the front edge as well. To assemble this base: Print all pieces: the left and right sides of both the front and back. Assemble these pairs by snapping them together; however, it works better when you slide them rather than forcing a snap fit. Now join the two assembled sides with screws. If you'd like to modify this case for any reason, SolidWorks files are included here for your reference and use.
