PrintNC - Mesa 7i76e DIN Mount and Relay DIN Mount
thingiverse
Yet another mount for the Mesa 7i76e CNC control board. Note: The DIN rail clips are a modified version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3640994 Modifications are the addition of holes for machine screws. For the Mesa board, use short M4 machine screws to secure the mounting plate to the Mesa DIN clips. For the relay board, use short M3 machine screws to secure the relay board to the relay DIN clips. Be sure to accurately measure the Mesa mount plate after you printed it. Should measure exactly 6.5" x 4.0". I had to have my slicer stretch by 0.55% in the long direction and less in the short direction for my printer to print to the proper size. Print to the proper size and the holes match up! Use short M3 machine screws to secure the 7i76e to the mounting plate. Tighten enough to hold the board. Over tightening could damage the board. Am using 15mm tall profile DIN rail in the pictures. I am using the 24VDC version of the dual relay board. Power the relay board with 24VDC. The inputs appear to be designed to handle a 24VDC signal to operate the relays so should be able to drive directly from the Mesa board if using 24VDC for I/O power. My relay board signal inputs draw 5mA with a 24VDC control signal.
