PrintNC - Limit Switch Mounts
thingiverse
Mounts to hold ME-8111 limit switches on top of the BK/BF blocks. Suitable for min/max limits on both Y-Axis and the X-Axis. Will need longer M6 Cap Head machine screws to secure the mounts on top of the BK/BF blocks. 60mm is absolutely minimum length. 65mm is better. Do not know if the holes in the BK/BF mounting blocks are deep enough for 70mm long M6 bolts. Need four M5x16mm button head bolts to mount the ME-8111 limit switches to the mounts. Only difference between the left and right mounts is they are mirrored. Since my PrintNC is destined to be in an enclosure, easier to adjust the limit switches if the mounting screw heads are accessible, so am mounting the limit switches away from the work area. Use the right Y-Axis mounts for the X-Axis. Target included to secure to the top X-Axis rectangular tubing. Use PrintNC template 5 as a guide for the mounting holes. Use the two outside holes closest to the ends of the tubing on the template. Drill/thread for M5 machine screws. This must be printed with support. I printed these with the side facing the target down - look for the ugly side in the pictures - should be obvious how I printed them. 2021 February 4 - Added modified versions to sit on the HM12-57V blocks. Slightly different vertical offsets on the top of the HM12-57V blocks, and since my mounts for the HM12-57V push the HM12-57V back 5mm, moved the limit switch mount 5mm closer to the target.
