Printing Visual Model
thingiverse
A visual model helps students see inside their 3D-printed objects, giving them a better understanding of how they affect print settings. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 10-100% Notes: I printed trays with a .6 mm nozzle and other parts with a .4 mm nozzle. All tray examples are based on a .4 mm print. Students can easily show the same thing using .25, .6, or .8 mm nozzles. The models are printed in 0.4 layers; 10 is 4 mm thick walls. Infill goes up to 10% as shown in the file.
