Printing Christmas!

My wife and I always make it a point to add special ornaments to our Christmas tree every year that reflect an important event from that year. My first 3D print was actually an ornament celebrating my very first 3D print, which is pretty ironic. As I'm expecting to get my own 3D printer by next year, I'll need to come up with a new design to commemorate this milestone as well. The loop used for hanging the ornament is a bit on the thin side, but still remarkably sturdy if you're careful when removing supports. Thankfully, it's positioned at the center of gravity, which means it hangs perfectly level thanks to some clever physics simulations in Cinema 4D. I made sure to include an M as a nod to Make:, since they were the driving force behind this year's ornament design.
