Printer step calibrator cube
thingiverse
Almost everyone knows the standard calibration cube. 20 by 20 millimeters. Works pretty good with two problems, it doesn't account for hole calibration as well. Another issue that I have is that it takes quite a while to print. On my printer, the cube takes 41 minutes to print, this takes 11 minutes to print. It also takes a total of 1g of material according to my slicer. This is a stepped cube with different sizes. Base plate: 10x15mm Step 1: 10mm Step 2: 15mm Step 3: 20mm Big hole: 8x8mm Small hole: 3x3mm So it provides more measuring angles compared to the cube. A lot of people leave out hole calibration, which results in the printer not being correctly calibrated, which can be a problem with printing inside threads. There videos and guides available to adjust for this, mostly using horizontal expansion in the slicer. In Cura it's under the walls section.
