Printer Shock Absorbers
thingiverse
These are spring-based shock absorbers designed to dampen torque generated by motors in any 3D printer, reducing vibrations and overall noise. The base clips will work with any printer, simply print your printer's feet with screw holes to fit the base cap. STLs for Printrbot Simple Metal 1403 feet are included here. The caps come equipped with short pegs to hold extruder springs, providing free play to prevent stress damage. This design allows 360-degree movement and eliminates vibrations I previously experienced on the table. I've kept the old foam mat until I can replace it with nice fitting rubber feet. BOM: 16 M3*8mm screws 20 extruder springs (bought cheap on Aliexpress)
