Printer Shell Mounting Clips

These clips are designed for mounting an acrylic shell around the sides of a printer, featuring 19mm (3/4") square frame rails. The front and back panel clips self-align and lock into place to keep the shell stable, allowing for easy removal and reattachment as needed. With these clips, access to the printer bed is easily achieved by hanging the front panel on a side panel. The clips are compatible with all original Rigidbot and ReliaBuild frames, while the shell panels attach securely using M4 bolts. To ensure smooth assembly, the holes in the clips are self-tapping during installation, requiring 48 round head M4 bolts. For convenience, the full collection of clips can be printed at once or individually as needed, printing eight of each for a complete set. It is highly recommended to use thermally calibrated filament for optimal results and fit, as calibration clips such as these have proven successful in thermal calibration. By using this acrylic shell, draft currents from the sides are effectively blocked, and curious fingers are kept away from the LCD control screen and moving parts. For a complete enclosure, top panels can be added from side to side with a gap in the middle over the printer head X axis rails to accommodate movement.
