Printer Power Supply Cover V2
thingiverse
Sometimes people tripping over your cord and smashing your power supply cover presents an opportunity for improvement. If you're so inclined, I suggest investigating something that passes formal UL, ULC, CSA or other applicable standards for where you live, but in the spirit of "run with what you brung" here is V2 of the cover design that integrates an on/off switch, plug and fuse. This one-piece sleeve design incorporates mounting tabs as I mount it to the outside of my enclosure with two screws through the printed cover and one on a standoff at the mounting point of the top of the supply. This design is tailored for the smaller 20 amp supply that comes with many printers, including my Tronxy P802E. It's printed with supports, and a picture shows print orientation with supports still intact. To have support only in the areas needed in Cura, I've set "Minimum Support X/Y distance" to 4mm. A picture is posted of the supply it's intended for, highlighting notable features such as the cover screw to the left and case metal extending down to the right of wiring terminals.
